June/2022 Balance – Buffs and Nerfs

The Next Brawl Stars Update arrives in the next few days! This weekend’s Brawl Talk revealed a lot, but we still have some information to show, and here on the site, you can follow everything that is coming out firsthand!

One of the new features that was not shown in Brawl Talk is the Balance Changes!

Balance Changes

There will be 2 Buffs changes and 4 Nerfs in the game. Check it all out below!

Brawlers that will have improved effectiveness (BUFFS) ↑

Carl brawl stars

Carl : 

  • Projectile Speed increase: from 2600 to 3000

Grom : 

  • Base damage increase: from 900 to 1,100
  • Super Damage Reduction: From 1,700 to 1,600
Brawlers that will have reduced effectiveness (NERFS) ↓

Ruffs : 

  • “Cover” Accessory Life Points reduced: from 2000 to 1500

Ruffs can be really dangerous in the hands of a skilled player. Still, it’s very difficult to get the most out of this Brawler, so we decided not to nerf it that hard.

Eve : 

  • “Little Surprise” Star Power: Now only spawns one hatchling every 5 seconds instead of for each egg.

Will he crown the queen? Probably not, but we’ll see.

Byron : 

  • Reload time increased: from 1.3 sec to 1.6 sec per ammo

Byron is a Brawler who is a good choice most of the time. Since launch, he has always been in Meta due to his versatility and power. This Nerf serves as a warning, but it shouldn’t stop you from being a good choice.

Janet : 

  • Janet can no longer activate the “Sound in the Box” Accessory while flying.

It felt very strange and at times very oppressive. Uncle Stu was proud, but everyone else was angry. And to be honest, it felt more like a bug than a design part of it.

BUGS Correction

  • Improved stability on weaker devices
  • Auto-aim no longer takes air targets into account
  • Fixed some reactions that could not be used in Club chat
  • Resolved a rare case where players banished the same Brawler in Star League
  • Fixed several sound issues
