Surge serves a shot of Juice that splits in 2 on contact with enemies.

Surge fires a shot of juice that splits in 2 at right angles when it hits an enemy. Each split shot will deal half the damage and have half the Supercharge of the initial shot. Surge’s attack range increases when upgraded to Stage 2 with his Super. His attack splits into 6 projectiles instead of 2 at Stage 4, with 3 firing in a wide arc on each side. These split shots continue on their trail for an additional 4 tiles. His attack has a short cooldown and can be fired quickly but reloads slowly.

With each Super, Surge gets upgraded (MAX 3). Upgrades are lost when Surge is defeated.

Surge flies up into the air, knocking enemies back and dealing damage in a small radius upon landing. While in the air, Surge is entirely immune to all damage besides status effects and damage applied over time. In addition, Surge becomes upgraded, and his appearance is altered each time he uses his Super. Surge’s upgrades reset if he is defeated, a goal is scored in Brawl Ball, or a round is over in Knockout. Additionally, a military-like rank icon will appear beside his health bar representing his current upgrade stage. All players can see this icon in the game.
